Donation Proposal for 5•12 Sichuan Earthquake Disaster
On May 12th, an earthquake of 7.8 magnitude broke out in Wenchuan, Sichuan, China. By now, the disaster has led to the death of 20,000 people and the collapse of 500,000 houses. It is estimated that the death toll will reach 50, 000 or above.
This was a rare and destructive natural calamity. With the increasing number of the wounded and death, viewing the people who lost their family member crying with grief, seeing the cities reduced to ruins, we herein announce a donation proposal—
